Television is all about quality programming and this is something the handlers of GhOne TV know very well, why? because they have lived it before and they aim to take their rightful spot in the Ghanaian media landscape.
The EIB outfit has introduced five (5) new programmes that are sure to get viewers hooked in the month of June and the rest of the year.
‘Unwind’, ‘The Lifestyle Show (TLC)’, ‘Next TV Star’, and ‘Bukom Banku Live’ are four new riveting shows that would start screening next month while ‘Tales From The Powder Room’ has been revamped to ‘Life’s Tales’, also showing in June.
Regina Van Helvert would be hosting ‘Unwind’ – an entertainment show that would not only focus on the lives of celebrities within the showbiz fold but also other prominent professionals in other sectors including Clergy, Medicine, Real Estates, Entrepreneurship, Politics and others.
Angela Bamford, a new addition to the station, has been accorded the responsibilities of hosting another new show, ‘TLC’ – a lifestyle-oriented show that would put the spotlight on everything lifestyle.
The new reality show, ‘Next TV Star’ would seek to unearth that lucky personality who aims at being on the screen, and that star is sure to have the opportunity to present his/her own show on the network. Serwaa Amihere would commandeer the show.
Cookie Tee will be in charge of ‘Life’s Tales’ – a rebranded version of her previous show, Tales From The Powder Room. The new version of the show seeks to broaden its scope to cover more variety of life stories unlike the former, which was more of a feminine based show.
Then there’s ‘Bukom Banku Live’ – which would be presented by one of Ghana’s well-loved personalities, former boxing champion, Braimah Kamoko, affectionately called ‘Bukom Banku’!
He would visit the slums, speak to the people and table the core problems they face with regard to the social amenities lacking and then, together with his producers, follow up to the appropriate Offices and present answers in addressing such problems in the slums.
“We are aimed for something exciting and Ghana is watching. We managed to grow a world-class brand in the face of challenges. What we are sharing here tonight is an emphatic statement of purpose of a new wave. At EIB Network, the only language we understand is Excellence,” Bola Ray, CEO of EIB stated during the unveiling.
