31 SHIRTS, 31 DAYS! Abeiku Santana To Wear 31 Different Ghanaian Print In Recognition of ‘Wear Ghana Month’ In March

The National Commission on Culture, under the auspices of the Ministry of Tourism, Arts & Culture and Street Fashion Train,  have declared the month of March as the ‘Wear Ghana Month’ and venerated broadcast journalist and Tourism Ambassador, Gilbert Abeiku Aggrey Santana has decided to add some urgency and commitment to the cause – is amazed yet impressed.

The CEO of Kaya Tours, a leading tourism agency in Ghana, has vowed to don a Ghanaian print every day for all the 31 days in the month of March – in support of the celebration of the initiative and Ghana’s independence.

Aside showing support for the initiative, Santana also admonishes for the month of March to be used for the celebration of everything Ghana.

“I am throwing my weight behind the campaign for Ghanaians to patronize Made-in-Ghana goods and services, or products – from food to clothing to music, movies, and to anything produced in Ghana. Let’s make the whole month of March, a month we celebrate Ghanaian achievers in all fields of endeavour,” he said.

He called on leaders and ‘influencers’ to support this laudable idea by the Commission on Culture and entreated media firms to show support by exhibiting Ghana-made and Ghana-produced elements on their respective platforms for the entire month.
