On Thursday, April 26 this year, renowned actor Kwaku Manu was arrested at Ejisu in the Ashanti for promoting his new product called Drop Fruit drink. www.entertainmentgh.com reported.
He was said to have retorted: “What should we do again?,” after a police officer had asked him to park their Kia truck with registration number AS 9359 – 13 properly since according to the officer, the car was parked on the wrong side of the road.
He was then asked by the police officer to follow him to the police station where he was arrested and put in cell.
Police were said to have allegedly assaulted the actor in the process of his arrest.
After being granted bail the day after his arrest, Kwaku Manu has narrated how the unfortunate incident happened.
In an Instagram video zionfelix.net shared, the Kumawood actor said the police maltreated him after the arrested on Thursday.
