Celebrated Ghanaian musician,Okyeame Kwame, has chalked another enviable feat for himself, his family and Ghanaian music in general.
The multiple award-winning musician was presented the ‘Key to the City’ of Cincinnati by its Mayor in a colourful ceremony which was put together by the Black Nurses Association of Cincinnati and the Ghanaian community in Cincinnati.
Aside the prestigious honour, the people of Cincinnati have also set aside 17th November of every year to celebrate the artist
He also utilized the opportunity to increase the awareness of Hepatitis B, a campaign he has championed successfully for close to a decade in Ghana.
The ‘Small Small’ hitmaker recently graduated with a Master’s Degree in Marketing Strategy from the University of Ghana –Legon.
He is expected to to present the key to the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II on his return to Ghana.
