All of Okyeame Kwame songs and videos will now be available for download from

Speaking at the event, Okyeame Kwame said one of the  issues in the music industry which make musicians  lose a lot of revenue was  distribution.

“I say this because the existing distribution channels in the country do not create platforms for the music to find its patrons. It is rather the patrons who must find the music. This causes loss of revenue to the musician,” Okyeame stated.

He said though technology had tried to help resolve the issues of distribution through platforms like iTunes and  Amazon, Internet fraud  and other fraudulent transactions by some unscrupulous  persons still create barriers for African artistes.

According to him, the platform gives prominence to African artistes and also makes payment easier for buyers in addition to being a transparent mode of operation.

“ One of the main  differences between and other platforms is that one can easily download to mobile  phone, personal computer, tablet, iPad and other   devices you have and the platform is also very user- friendly.

“I am delighted about this because we want to reach out to many more people who would want to see and hear from us on daily basis. So far, with what we’ve done in the past and with what we have just launched in addition, I’m convinced we are doing something right,” Okyeame added.

The launch of Okyeame Kwame’s digital platform attracted a large number of stakeholders in the music business and  fans witnessed live  performances from Stone of Bradez fame, Raquel, Miss V and Okyeame himself.
