It is advisable to always resort to the court when one feels aggrieved or is given some raw deal but, it is also not a guarantee that, you lodging a complaint at the court first wins the case for you; it’s a fallacy – www.entertainmentgh.com knows this!
A couple of editors for some websites and blogs, opened their mails early this week to find a scathing letter; a mail from one Cindy Coffee, who directed the websites and bloggers to take off a link that has her name, and refusal to abide by that instruction would instigate a legal action from her lawyers.
This is what she sent – and www.entertainmentgh.com got it too;
My name “Cindy Emefa Coffee” in this link should kindly be taken off your website before my legal team takes over.
This is my first request as told to be done as part of protocol by my legal team. Thank you
Checks by www.entertainmentgh.com indicate that Cindy Coffee was a contestant for the 2017 edition of the Miss Ghana Universe pageant and represented the Volta Region.
She failed to indicate in her mail, her reason for the instruction for bloggers and websites to drop her name from the links to Miss Ghana Universe stories.
This portal is still checking if there’s any impasse between Cindy and organizers of the pageant, led by National Director, Mrs. Menaye Donkor Muntari – which could have caused her to take this action.
On September 2, 2017, Ruth Quashie, a Business Administration graduate from the Central Region was crowned Miss Universe Ghana 2017 while Herphie Armah and Emily Randolph, both students of the Ghana Institute of Journalism, were first and second runners-up respectively.
