Viasat1’s flagship talk show – The One Show makes a comeback with season 7 on Monday 3rd February, 2014.
Regular hosts, PY Addo Boateng and Joselyn Dumas will welcome viewers to another exciting and interactive journey of entertainment and lifestyle.
The One Show, which is Viasat1’s premiere own production, has risen to be a household name in Ghana and has chalked immense success from the fourth season. Over the past few years, it has proved to be a benchmark for TV talk shows in Ghana. Season 7 promises to make greater strides, following the consistent LIVE production it began two seasons ago.
Coming on the heels of a successful run last year, the new season of ‘The One Show’ will discuss more pressing issues that viewers can easily relate to. Programmes Manager of Viasat1, Frank Norteye, says the interactivity between viewers and the show will be one factor being considered. “The One Show is designed to get closer to the people, so we want them to feel a part of the show by interacting with us on social media and phone calls.” According to Mr. Norteye, very important topics ranging from Family to Lifestyle, Relationships and Gender issues, as well as personal experiences, would be discussed.
Among the topics to be discussed are ‘The influence of Women in Shaping the Nation’ which would include subjects like Women & Politics; Do women make better bosses? Fulfilling your destiny as a woman, and Are women complicated than men?
The One Show also takes a look at family and relationships: How to bond in family, managing in-laws, Preparing towards parenthood, Insecurities in relationships, among others. The show would also touch on Reconciliation and Forgiveness, with an attempt to reconcile some personalities live on the show.
The One Show Season 7 aims to attract an increased audience share, interactivity, and also involve the audience, which will pull more eyeballs from a larger scope. Make a date for the season’s premiere on Viasat1 this Monday 3rd February, 2014 at 5pm, and catch it same time every Monday to Thursday.
