Pretty media personality, Shirley Tibilla, popularly known as Cookie Tee, is all poised to sit in as the new host for the mid-morning show on Starr 103.5FM, ‘The Zone’ – www.entertainmentgh.com has found out!
She replaces Jon Germain, who, together with another accomplished media personality, KOD, parted ways with the station a week ago.
Cookie was the co-host of the ‘drive-time’ show, ‘Starr Drive’ together with KOD and is still the host for ‘Tales from the Powder Room’ on GhOne TV.
In another revelation, www.entertainmentgh.com is also privy to news that, the station has also got a replacement for KOD for the ‘drive-time’ show in the name of the relatively unknown Godfrey Ainoo.
In separate Facebook posts, both KOD and Jon Germain disclosed their respective decisions to leave the firm.
KOD posted: “After 5 straight years at EIB, we mutually parted company last Thursday. It’s been 5 awesome years with an amazing family. From Live FM, my love child as Head of events & host of 360 Live (I truly enjoyed my days at Live with the youngsters) & later moving to Starr to host the Zone & Starr Dive, it’s been a fabulous learning curve”.
Germain posted: “I am happy to announce that after 5 years and 9 months of being with STARR FM & the EIB family, we have decided to mutually part ways. I’d like to thank everyone who worked with me from the Drop off to The Zone..And everyone who tuned in to my shows. All the best”.
