NO SOCRATE, NO KWADWO! Titus-Glover to be named as Deputy Minister for Creative Arts?


In just a matter of hours, The President, H.E. Nana Akufo-Addo is expected to name the Deputies to the various Ministries after officially releasing the names for the Regions.

Checks by on claims by sources close to the Presidency state that, the Member of Parliament for Tema East constituency, Greater Accra is likely to be named as the Deputy Minister for Tourism, Arts & Culture.

The highly-anticipated announcement would put a welcoming stop to the jostling for the positions by supporters of what was thought to be the two leading persons for the post, filmmaker Socrate Safo and Marketer, Kwadwo Antwi.

Hon. Daniel Nii Kwartei Titus-Glover studied at Warwick Uni. Coventry (MA, Labour Relations (2003-2004)), Ruskin College, England, (Certificate Employment Relations (2002-2004)) and at the University of Cape Coast (Certificate).

In Parliament, he has served on a couple of committees, including the Appointments Committee, Committee on Members Holding Offices of Profit and most importantly, he served on the Committee for Trade, Industry and Tourism – one of the strong reasons he might get the nod
