In the last month, on-air-personality/entertainment journalist, Samuel Atoubi Baah (Sammy Flex) has made more moves than many radio personalities who have been in the trade for decades.
After leaving his well-listened-to AM Pluzz show on Pluzz89.9 FM to do Total Entertainment on Okay FM, www.entertainmentgh.com can authoritatively state, that the presenter has signed with Media Village, owners of Atinka FM and Atinka TV.
Sammy Flex is moving his team of producers and panel members on the seemingly-defunct AM Pluzz to a new entertainment talk show on Atinka 104.7FM and they will call it, Entertainment City.
Entertainment City will be transmitted in the evenings, Monday to Friday from 7pm to 10pm. The first edition of the show will be broadcast on Monday, February 6, 2017.
Sammy has also been contracted to help fortify the entertainment content on Atinka TV, which means, he and his production team are moving Weekend Edition from TV7 to Atinka TV and it will show live every Saturday morning from 8am to 10am.
Sammy Flex leaves Okay FM after such a short stint and although he had hoped to gain grounds with his new slot on Abeiku Santana’s ‘Drive Time’ Show, the deal from Media Village was too lucrative to reject.
His followers also groused over his inability to command and exert control over the slot, which they claim, limited him in how he operates as a host.
Just like he did with AM Pluzz, Atinka FM and Entertainment City may provide enough room and freedom for Sammy and his posse to operate.
