GOOD YEAR! Jay-Z’s 2019 ‘Year End Picks’ Playlist: Shatta Wale Is In There

Shatta Wale has had an eventful year and his collaboration with Beyoncé still tops the biggest music feat chalked by any Ghanaian act –arguably and he is still enjoying the spotlight.

Jay-z is next to give Shatta Wale a mention via his feature on ‘Already’ with the superstar.

Here is how Billboard reported it;

With the end of 2019 fast approaching, Jay-Z has returned to reveal his favorite tracks from throughout the year. Hov unveiled the 40-track playlist exclusively on TIDAL Thursday (Dec. 19), and it’s clear he bumped quite the range of rap and hip-hop throughout 2019.

Jay’s selections included cuts like Kanye West’s “Follow God,” Russ and Bia’s “Best on Earth,” Tyler, The Creator’s “EARFQUAKE,” DaBaby‘s “SUGE,” and Jhené Aiko‘s “Triggered.”

The rest of the star-studded playlist saw contributions from Drake, Young Thug, J. Cole, Freddie Gibbs and Madlib, Summer Walker, Roddy Ricch, Lil Tjay, Rick Ross, Maxo Kream, Travis Scott, Rod Wave, Solange, Lil Baby, Beyoncé, Burna Boy, Pop Smoke, Denzel Curry, and more.

Russ and Bia were pumped to see their collab make the cut. “Best on Earth” has also already received a co-sign from Rihanna. “Let’s f—in go! ‘Best on Earth made Jay-Z’s end of year playlist,” Russ excitedly penned. “Oh my God! Nah that’s legend,” BIA added in the comments.
