CEO Of popular gold dealership outfit Menzgold and revered media body Zylofon, Nana Appiah Mensah led his NAM Mission team to The Ghanaman Centre Of Excellence at Prampram to inspect structures of the facility and also, break the news of sponsoring the Ghana Premier League.
Nana Appiah Mensah, broke the news of sponsoring the Ghana Premier league through, one of his able lietenants Frederick Boateng.
“On behalf of Nana Appiah Mensah and his team, I would like to announce that Zylofon will be sponsoring the Ghana Premier League.” Boateng revealed.
The meeting took off with the president of the Ghana Football Association Kwesi Nyantakyi introducing some members of the technical department of the U17 and U20 teams, currently camping at Prampram, and some members of the association to Nana Appiah Mensah and his team.
Sammy Flex on behalf of the NAM Missions team, introduced Nana Appiah Mensah and the rest of the entourage.
Nana Appiah Mensah took his turn by praising Nyantakyi for his exemplary leadership qualities and how far he has sent Ghana football.
“I want us all to clap for President Nyantakyi. He has contributed enough to Ghana football. Nyantakyi and his members, have raised the flag of Ghana football higher, and so I think we should not sit aloof and look unconcerned. Together we can build and develop Ghana football. Together we can achieve the principle of synergy.” he said.
“Our team has decided to throw our weight behind Ghana football. To you the players present, I urge you all to aspire to higher heights. You should take your job serious as you represent Ghana in football. You should know that when you don the national jersey, you represent yourself, family and the nation. Do this with all your heart, so after you retire, you will be counted among the legends of Ghana football,” Nana Appiah Mensah continued.
Nyantakyi thanked Nana Appiah Mensah and his team for having good thoughts for Ghana football and above all agreeing to sponsor the league, which has been without a title sponsor for over 3 years now.
Technical head of the Ghana Football Association Francis Oti Akenten, on behalf the association thanked Nana Appiah Mensah and his team for the visit and, the idea of putting money into the league.
‘”Let us all applaud Nana Appiah Mensah, his team and Nyantakyi for these good thoughts and this sponsorship, which has come as a huge relief,” Akenten appreciated.
King of Dormaa, Nana Agyemang Badu II, who doubles as the bankroller of premier league campaigners, Aduana Stars got the opportunity to be introduced to Nana Appiah Mensah by Kwesi Nyantakyi. His team was lodging at prampram, after returning from Madagascar.
An elated Nyantakyi told zyofonmediaonline.com that, he believes he could not sleep tonight due to the good news from Nana Appiah Mensah, which has come at a good time.
“I don’t believe I can sleep tonight. Wow!! This is good news. After 3 years of been without a league sponsor, why shouldn’t I be happy?,” he queried in ecstasy.
The official launch is scheduled for next week, hence football loving fans and club owners should be ready for something huge.
