Ghanaian Model, Ian Wordi Appointed Tourism Ambassador

Through his modelling, Ian has now been appointed as a Tourism Ambassador for the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture.

With this new job, comes the opportunity to market the Ghanaian culture and attend international cultural exchange events hosted both in Ghana and in other countries. www.entertainmentgh.com is only an observer!

His main job will be to encourage people to “Wear Ghana, Eat Ghana, Feel Ghana, and See Ghana.

Ian couldn’t hide his joy when it was finally confirmed that he would be a tourism ambassador for the country.

“Hello guys, I am pleased to announce to you that I have been appointed as the new Tourism Ambassador for the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture. I am charged with promoting others to “Wear Ghana, Eat Ghana, Feel Ghana, and See Ghana” I look forward to sharing this journey with you!,” he said on Instagram.

If you don’t know Ian, he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor 2016 for the movie “SALA” at the Ghana Movie Awards. In 2016, he was awarded the model of the year.

Ultimately, Ian wants to be remembered as an actor, an influential and successful one, he made known in 2016.

His most challenging role so far has been his movie ‘Sala’ which was directed by Kobby Rana where he plays the role of a local boxer. He stared alongside Kalsoume Sinare and Jackie Appiah.
