Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale in an interview has disclosed that, in recent time, his songs go unnoticed due to the hardship under the present operating government.
Ahead of his media tour of the launch of the ‘Reign Album’, he spent the last weekend in Kumasi and said this in an interview when he spoke to Kumasi-based Luv FM. www.entertainmentgh.com is only monitoring!
He stated “this time I’m even releasing more songs but people are not even aware. I’m just trying to make people take their minds off certain things”.
The King of the Shatta Movement Empire added that, although he has tried to create controversies to get people focused on him and the entertainment industry, Ghanaians do not seem to care because everyone is thinking of how to make ends meet with the difficult system.
“I’m trying to put controversial stuff in the industry for Ghana to be interesting but the country is becoming hotter and hotter each and every day.”
He asked the President to do something to help make Ghana a better place.
“I beg the president to do something. Ghanaians are suffering too much. I just want to say this on air for him to know that I also care about the country. The way he wants Ghana to move is the same way I also want Ghana to move but people are complaining too much. Like there’s no money, businesses are collapsing and many more.”
