Shots Fired: Shatta Wale Won’t Sit With Samini

Latest efforts to foster peace between the two most-talked-about dancehall artistes have been thwarted with Shatta Wale declaring that there is no way on this earth where he will sit with Samini to parley on squashing their long-standing ‘beef’.

In a Peace FM radio interview, Shatta Wale trivialized attempts to have the two artistes have a sit-down and even issued some stern warning to the media to put an immediate stop to further discussions of peace between Samini and himself.
“He’s not a dancehall artiste, he should go on doing his hiplife and highlife, I don’t want to sit anywhere with him to discuss anything,” he snarled.
Shatta also went on to lay some heavy accusations on Samini for his tribulations in the industry, “For 10 years, I struggled, I could not afford an ordinary shoe and a dress for my mum – all because of Samini. He messed me up by discouraging every event organizer from putting me on their shows.”
The artiste also claimed that he sees no reason why Samini is feverishly making efforts for a meeting when he had earlier turned down attempts to foster some tranquility between them. “Why is the acclaimed human being now ready to sit down with the son of a dog?”
Shatta Wale has also released a new Samini diss song where he goes on his usual rant, using some derogatory words on Samini and accusing him of the usual – not being a dancehall artiste ad using him (Shatta) to attain prominence again.
