After stunning the gospel world with her album “Mennku me ho” which was well received and enjoyed overwhelming airplay with songs like “Medofo pa”, “Mennku me ho” and “wob3y3 nhyira”, the 2012 VGMA Gospel song of the year holder is set to release her fourth album titled, I’M GRATEFUL.
“It is a reflection and summary of where God picked us from and the journey he is taking us on; when you look back into the days, you need to be grateful. The journey has not been easy – its been frustrating and turbulent sometimes; from my first release in 2004 [Da koro b3y3 me da], to 2009 [Wob3y3 Nhyira] and then 2011 [Mennku me ho], I’ve had several experiences but through it all, God has never forsaken us and that is the surety that He is taking us somewhere and we shouldn’t wait till we finally arrive before we express our thankfulness; we need to be GRATEFUL every step of the way; she explained.
The Gospel diva who picked four awards at the 2nd edition of the Ghana Gospel Industry Awards (GGIA) organized by Adom FM 106.3MHz revealed that the new Album which will soon be out will encourage many people and also expose them to the power of God, taking inspiration from her own life and what God has been able to do with her.
The 10-track album still under CEBEX record label has songs like “Boa me na y3mm) Yesu aba so”, “s))s)) kyeekyee” and a remix of “da koro b3y3 me da.” It features the likes of Rev. Bruce Ghartey, popularly known as Uncle Ato and Francis Osei. It is being recorded and engineered by Nacy, George Forest, Dan Bassy, Francis Osei and Shadrack.
