How the issue of security became a headline after the ‘GhanaMeetsNaija’ Concert over the weekend should not be hard for any follower of show business to grasp; www.entertainmentgh.com has a grasp too!
After the security breach at the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards that instigated a whole lot of mess, of which the entire industry is still burdened with the aftermath, security was a major concern for the Empire-produced concert and it is not surprising that some portals have picked on it as a subject matter.
Here is how ghkasa.com reported what they saw at the concert;
Empire Ghana, organizers of the annual Ghana Meets Naija concert, assured patrons of maximum security at this years #GMN19 event.
As promised, Empire Entertainment had the best security as most patrons applauded the organizers for a wonderful show at the Accra International Conference Center.
GhKasa.com saw Empire engage through their security consultants; Asuavo Security Company Limited, and the requisite national security agencies to help maintain a decent environment.
This year’s event was football-themed and featured some of the biggest mainstream stars from Ghana and Nigeria, with special international act surprise.
R2Bees, Medikal, and Patapaa lead Ghana’s contingent this year while Nigeria was ably represented by rising star Teni, as well as Wande Coal, and Victor AD.
Known for its boldness and industry pace-setting standard of offering the Ghana Meets Naija platform to young and promising artiste to shine, patrons saw over a dozen acts perform. They include: Tulenkey, Fameye, Quamina MP, Bless, Kelvyn Boy, Ras Kuku, J Derobie, Koko Trey, Opanka, A.K Songstress, Yongrush, and Saltan and Moziz.
