Since bursting unto mainstream music relevance and recognition, Ghanaian highlife/afrobeats artiste, Kelvynboy has endured one constant criticism; he sounds like Wizkid – and over the period, all he’s done is disabuse the minds of critics of this assertion, www.entertainmentgh.com is just observing.
Speaking to Andy Dosty on Hitz 103.9FM, the Burninton Music Group -recording artiste stated that those making the claim of he sounding like Nigerian superstar, Wizkid are lost.
“I do not sound like Wizkid,” he retorted.
“Those making such claims do not know my sound,” he continued.
He also talked about how we are lost as music lovers over the genesis and influence of afrobeats.
“We are lost. We started afrobeats even before the Nigerians started. Afrobeats got influenced by highlife.”
