FUN ON DStv! Exciting Movies, Telenovela, Series & Cartoons This January

January brings us brand new and exciting entertaining new shows on DStv. Here are this week’s picks!

 Nancy Drew, a dynamic reboot of the iconic teenage detective Nancy Drew. Nancy is making plans to leave her hometown for college but finds herself drawn into a supernatural murder mystery. Brand New Series, starts Saturday 11th January at 7pm on Mnet (CH 101)

Lucy Liu, Ginnifer Goodwin and Kirby Howell-Baptiste run this dark dramedy about three women in three decades who all lived in the same house dealing with infidelity. Brand New Series, Why Women Kill, starts Monday 13th January at 7pm on M-Net (CH 101)

As R&B songbird Keyshia Cole preps for the arrival of her second bundle of joy, first-time father, medical consultant, and Hip-Hop artist, Niko Khale prepares for the baby’s arrival. Keisha Cole My New Life, brand new reality series, starts showing Thursday 9th January on BET (CH 129)

An FBI agent recruits his mathematical-genius brother to help the bureau solve a wide range of challenging crimes in Los Angeles. Numb3rs, a new season shows Mondays-Thursdays at 5:55 on FOX (CH 125).

Gloucester’s fishermen have to learn new fishing techniques to beat their competitors, the Outer Banks’ top fishermen, in the race to catch the elusive bluefin tuna in the waters of North Carolina. Wicked Tuna, North vs South S6 shows this and every Monday at 6pm on National Geographic (CH 181).

American submarine Captain Joe Glass is on the hunt for a U.S. sub in distress in the Arctic Ocean. He soon learns that a secret Russian coup is in the offing, a conspiracy that threatens to dismantle the world order. With crew and country on the line, Glass must assemble an elite group of Navy SEALs to sneak through enemy waters, rescue the kidnapped Russian president and prevent World War III. New movies, Hunter Killer shows this Sunday, 12th January on M-Net (CH 101).

A brand-new special film, Hunter Killer tells the story of Hip Hop culture conquering the world and today being a lifestyle and global business. Shows Tuesday at 8pm on IMagic (103).

Almost Yours, a romantic comedy, tells the story of two individuals who are trying to escape their lives after everything they have believed in, is suddenly no longer true. On their quest to escape, these two strangers crash into each other and begin a new story. Almost Yours will be showing every Weekday night 5pm on Telemundo (CH 118).

Baby versions of Jim Henson’s Muppets imagine themselves in fantastic situations. Muppet Babies, Weekdays at 2:30 on Disney Juniour (CH 309).
