BREAKING NEWS! Operations Director For RTP Awards, Jesse Agyepong, Resigns

With just a week to main event, the Radio & Television Personality Awards (RTP) is in some sort of turmoil, with one controversy or the other hitting the scheme on a daily basis – www.entertainmentgh.com has noticed.

Just hours after the Office of the Vice President released a post, disassociating the Vice President from any involvement in the Awards – another blow has hit the scheme. This portal, www.entertainmentgh.com has reliable information that Jesse Agyepong, the Chief Operating Officer of the RTP Awards has resigned from the scheme.

Jesse Agyepong – leaves post

According to sources, the reasons for the resignation of the 2016 CIMG ‘Marketing Practitioner of the Year’ are that, things are not working effectively as anticipated and other related activities concerning the organization of the awards are troubling.

The sources also assert that the public spat between the scheme and George Quaye, host of the GhOne TV’s Pundits show, had a role to play in his decision to resign. The incessant negative stories that shroud the scheme are also said to have pushed Mr. Agyepong to leave his post, just a few months after joining the scheme.

Information also has it that, he stepped aside, some couple of weeks ago, way before most of the controversies started hitting the scheme, including that of the Vice President.

www.entertainmentgh.com also found out that, on the 27th of October 2017, a day to the main event of the RTP Awards, Mr. Jesse Agyepong is also organizing an entrepreneurship seminar, dubbed, ‘Get Started’ at the British Council at 5pm.

The PR Machinery of RTP Awards have refused to answer questions relating to the resignation. In fact, this portal also found out that, they (RTP) have resolved not to speak on any controversy relating to the scheme until the event is done.
