Our friendships, whether good or bad shape us and for many a person, fake friends have set them on the path of destruction.
In a bid to caution people to be wary of those they let into their inner circle, Afropop artiste,Celebee, has dropped his latest single, ‘Back Case’ which draws attention to the acts of fake friends.
“Back Case” was inspired by the ups and downs in my life especially when I got to find out that the people who I thought had my back were actually not happy about my progress.
“The song is to tell haters pretending to be lovers that I do not care about their evil plans because it is my back case. With God on our side, we will smile at the storm since they don’t have power over our destinies, they are just mere mortals,” he stated.
Back Case, produced by BBM Music seese a growth in Celebee’s craft as his lyrics are on point and he creatively compares his ‘back case’ with the backside of actress and socialite, Moesha Bouduong. The flow of Celebee on Back Case is one that will catch on well with the ‘boys boys’ as he sings in pidgin.
The song was officially released on August 15 and the Odo singer said he’s encouraged by the positive responses from some industry folks who have listened to it.
“ Truly, I’m amazed because it has shown the different side of my creativity and already, some senior artistes I sent the song to for critiquing have given it a thumbs up,” he said.
