Just days since its release and Stonebwoy’s ‘Epistles of Mama (EOM)’ album, is already generating the buzz and attracting rave reviews -www.entertainmentgh.com caught the vibe too
The double-disc album, which has a Reggae side and that for Afrobeat – is the 3rd studio album from the artist, who has been heavily tipped to be the second Ghanaian to get a Grammy nod after Rocky Dawuni.
Off the back of hosting a packed out UK listening party at Red Bull Studios last week, Stonebwoy announces the release of his highly anticipated new album ‘Epistles Of Mama (EOM)’ out 12th December.
T Sean Paul, Sarkodie, Burna Boy, Kabaka Pyramid and a deluge of other A-list acts are listed on the album.
“I wanted to reach out across the world, to all the lovers reggae and all the lovers of afrobeats and to bring these 2 genres together in one place.”
The theme of motherhood is key to the album `and is a message that pins many of the tracks together. Dedicated to his Mother and the morals and guidance that all mothers instill in their children, Stonebwoy explains:
“It’s inspired by the good morals, the teachings, the lessons, the anguish and the smiles of life – All the important things in life which are passed on to us by our mothers.”
The album is on sale on most music download platform inluding iTunes, aftown and many others.
Stonebwoy is also prepping the 2nd installment of the Bhim Concert, which comes on 22nd Dec, at the Accra Int. Conference Center.
